CartoonFit Comics

Do you have that friend who loves fitness but they take themselves way too seriously? Are you that friend?

Whether it's CrossFit, running, yoga, nutrition, or anything in between, CartoonFit Comics was created to make the struggle a little more fun—and a little less serious. CartoonFit Comics focuses on single-panel cartoons which turn fitness equipment and their patient owners, into characters to whom we can all relate.

Inspired by comics such as Dilbert, The Oatmeal, and Boondocks, our work also includes animation, multi-panel comics and upcoming books. If you want to see what our squad is up to, the best way is to give a follow on Instagram @cartoonfitcomics. For prints, apparel and home décor, visit cartoonfitcomics.com.

If you have an idea for the absurd you see in your gym or nutrition life, we'd love to hear from you. Just send a note to info@cartoonfitcomics.com.

Author

A CrossFit Level III instructor (CCFT/CF-L3) and aspiring amateur exerciser, Marcus Lowther is first an observer, and second, a visual artist. Marcus wants people to perform to their full potential, and fitness with high intensity is the quickest path to that goal. Since high school, Marcus has drawn comics for himself, making light of most situations – life as an analyst, business school, and most recently, fitness.

Although the subject matter of funny fitness cartoons and picture books is light, we live in a country where ignoring preventable diseases – obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, is very serious . These comics are a light-hearted entry into the fitness world that can prevent these illnesses and Marcus hopes to spread awareness to kids and adults through CartoonFit Comics.

Design work includes: Graphic Designer, CrossFit Tysons Corner, Freelance designs for Big Papa SUP, eRideShare, Inc., and Metron Aviation.
